President Cristina Kirchner accuses Techint of a dominant position

Storm in the air over the Techint group of the Rocca brothers in Argentina. Some time ago, CEO Paolo Rocca criticized the management of economic policy in Argentina, where the Group has always had roots, and noted the country's loss of competitiveness. The reaction of the Casa Rosada was furious and the president Cristina Kirchner accused the Italian group of having a dominant position. The conflict is particularly delicate because there are investments of over one billion dollars at stake that Techint has planned in the South American country and which now risk being questioned again.

After the President's outburst, Rocca sent a letter to the Casa Rosada correcting the shot a bit and hoping to mend the rift. But so far the reactions of Argentine institutional leaders are cold.
