A reconstruction from within Enrico Cuccia's Mediobanca, for long decades the absolute dominus of Italian finance, had never been done and only one of his closest collaborators such as Fulvio Coltorti, for a long time head of the research area of the Milanese bank, could do it. The result was a book based on a long and interesting interview made by the journalist Giorgio Giovannetti to Coltorti himself (“La Mediobanca di Cuccia”, G. Giappichelli Editore), which reveals unpublished details of Cuccia and his Mediobanca and which is still known today very topical.
Coltorti's book, which is enriched by the contributions of Franco Amatori, Piero Barucci, Marcello De Cecco, Giandomenico Piluso and Giulio Tremonti, will be presented in Florence on the afternoon of Monday 27 November at the Fondazione Biblioteche della Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze in via Bufalini 6 at h. 16.
In addition to the author, the president of the Morbidelli Foundation, the president of Banca Imi Miccicchè, the vice president of Mediobanca Pecci and the academics Farese and Nardozzi will also take part in the presentation.
