Juve wins the derby, Napoli liquidates Spal: the Scudetto duel continues

Again nothing changes. Naples and Juventus win with Spal and Turin and maintain their respective positions in the standings, moreover with the same result of 1-0 which certifies how much the two have now become similar also in the way they approach matches. With one less round to play, the Azzurri would have to smile more, but the Bianconeri can rejoice for having smashed the double away round with full points against Fiorentina and Turin, moreover with the Champions League in between.

Both Sarri and Allegri therefore have many reasons to rejoice: they will never admit it but the awareness that the title can only be decided in the direct clash on April 22nd is making its way into both minds.

“We had a good match, the only mistake was not to close it – thought the blue coach. - Maybe we lacked the right anger but still we didn't allow any occasion. And then in the end what was needed were the 3 points ”. It was up to him to decide Allan with a goal early in the match (6'), after which Napoli created several chances (above all an Insigne post and a goal disallowed by Hamsik) without however being able to score again. In short, maximum result with minimum effort, along the lines of what Juventus did a few hours earlier. In fact, the bianconeri had momentarily taken the lead in the standings thanks to the success against Turin, which certifies absolute domination in the city (3 out of 3 derbies won in the season, including the Italian Cup) and the usual skill in managing league matches.

And to think that the day hadn't started well at all: ready-go and Higuain was forced to leave the field due to a problem with his left ankle (slight sprain), a fate which, moreover, would also befall in the final Bernardeschi, this time for a problem with his left knee (again nothing serious). Allegri thus found himself without a center forward (Mandzukic wasn't even on the bench) and was forced to deploy Douglas Costa in the center of the attack, in a trident that seemed at least dull. However, Alex Sandro found the right paw with a close tap-in on an assist by Bernardeschi (33'), after which Juve, thanks to the too compliant Turin lined up by Mazzarri, basically managed the forces without risking anything sensational.

“It was not a simple answer but a great match – comment satisfied with Happy. – Juve is strong, they have extraordinary players who are fighting on three fronts like no one in Italy. I am very proud of my boys and of coaching this group." Naples first at 66, Juventus immediately behind at 65: a tight head-to-head is spectacular, unparalleled in any of the other "major" European championships. And the feeling is that this time we will really enjoy it to the end.
