The Italian champions are approaching the big Champions League match against Atletico Madrid on 20 February in the best possible way, resuming their unstoppable march in the league where they knocked out Zerbi's effervescent Sassuolo with three goals to zero.

Already in the first half, after a couple of defensive blunders, Juve took the lead with a fine goal by Khedira who caught a shot by Cristiano Ronaldo rejected by Consigli.

In the second half, Juve definitely took command of the game by doubling with Cristiano Ronaldo who thus consolidated his lead in the top scorer table with 18 goals and then tripling with Emre Can, who had just entered the field with about ten minutes to go.

With this victory, Juve thus take a good 11 points ahead of Napoli in the standings and take another step forward towards winning their eighth consecutive Scudetto, a historic feat that no one has ever achieved.

After some initial uncertainty, the defense withstood the absences of Bonucci and Chiellini well, who however will be in Madrid, and took advantage of the coverage offered by Pjanic and Matuidi with Khedira acting as a link between defense and attack, where once again CR7 it made all the difference.
