Juve mortgages the Scudetto: will Napoli postpone the party?

By beating Bologna (3-1) from behind, Juve took another step towards winning the seventh consecutive Scudetto and is preparing for Wednesday's Coppa Italia final against Milan - Only by winning at home against Turin, Napoli can still keep open the duel for the scudetto – The formations in the field.

Juve mortgages the Scudetto: will Napoli postpone the party?

First the fear, then the joy. Not yet unbridled, for that we will have to wait at least this afternoon or a week or two but by now there are few doubts: Juventus have got their hands on the Scudetto and, sooner or later, they will pin it on their shirt for the seventh time in a row. Perhaps already today if Napoli were to lose against Turin, next Sunday in Rome, the following one at home against Verona: the match points have become so many and the countdown no longer seems able to be stopped. Sarri has a duty to postpone the party as much as possible, but it is certain that he too knows well that by now there is very little to do. And to think that last night, at least for a while, Bologna tried to help out. Verdi's penalty (30', Rugani's foul on Crisetig who would have deserved the red card for a clear occasion) had deluded Naples that the championship could still reopen, Juve's second half however made it clear, if still needed the hierarchies.

And so the Lady, thanks to the entry into the field of Douglas Costa in place of Matuidi, overturned the match with the strength of those who want to win and know how to overcome obstacles of all kinds. To tell the truth, things were put back in order by an own goal by De Maio (52'), then the Brazilian took the chair and first served an assist to Khedira (63', error by Mirante) and then a another to Dybala (69'). A terrible trio that knocked out Bologna and, above all, Napoli: the Scudetto is getting closer and closer and no one now seems to be able to do anything to remove it from the black and white shirts. “We've taken a big step forward but it's not done yet – sneered Allegri. – Bologna played a good game, they defended well and found the goal also because of our mess. Luckily we reacted, now we are only three points away from the math."

Today, however, it will be the turn of Napoli, who will try to keep the championship open (at least mathematically) at home against Turin (15 pm). Sarri's team will have to win at all costs or at least not lose: in the event of a defeat, in fact, the bianconeri would even celebrate the Scudetto with two games to spare. An eventuality that, around Fuorigrotta, they don't even want to take into consideration, also in order not to disrespect an ever-present public and ready even today to give its support. Sarri will obviously field the best possible 4-3-3 with Reina in goal, Hysaj, Albiol, Tonelli (Koulibaly is suspended after the expulsion of Florence) and Mario Rui in defence, Allan, Jorginho and Hamsik in midfield, Callejon, Mertens and Insignia in attack. Classic 3-4-2-1 for Mazzarri's Torino, who will respond with Sirigu in goal, N'Kolou, Burdisso and Bonifazi in the back, De Silvestri, Rincon, Baselli and Ansaldi in the midfield, Ljaijc and Edera in the frontline shoulders of the sole striker Belotti.
