The Italian champions won big in Bologna with goals from Pjanic, Mandzukic and Matuidi without conceding a goal for the sixth consecutive time.

Juve dominates Bologna, bypasses Inter and approaches Napoli

A splendid Juve conquered Bologna with a hat-trick, overtaking Inter and climbing to second place in the standings, just one point behind the new leaders from Napoli.

There was practically no match in Bologna because the Italian champions took the reins of the game and made the match from the first to the last minute. The result was unlocked by a free-kick at the top corner kicked perfectly in the 29th minute by Pjanic, who mocked the former Mirante.

Pjanic himself also kicked off the second goal with a perfect cross in the 36th minute for Mandzukic who didn't hesitate to stab the Bolognese goalkeeper again.

The third Juventus goal came in the second half in the 64th minute thanks to Matuidi who crowned a superlative performance with his first Italian goal.

In the end Allegri, thinking about the mid-week Coppa Italia match, also sent Bernardeschi, Dybala (more convincing than the last few performances) and Marchisio onto the field but the games were now over and Juve left the Dall'Ara in Bologna with a clear conviction of being fully back in the running. If the bianconeri had to respond to yesterday's victories of Napoli and Roma, the answer was very clear. It's the sixth consecutive time that Juve haven't conceded a goal and that's what Allegri wanted.
