Juve of records against the Toro heart: it is the charm of the derby

TURIN DERBY - The numbers say Juve but the Italian champions fear the unpredictability of the derby and do not let their guard down against Ventura's team who will try to sting with the former Quagliarella - Among the Bianconeri, who want to consolidate the primacy by putting pressure on Roma, Evra returns – Allegri: "This match is different from all the others"

Juve of records against the Toro heart: it is the charm of the derby

“Nothing is taken for granted”. Juventus and Turin, albeit from diametrically opposite perspectives, repeat the concept as a mantra in view of tonight's derby (18pm). If they really believe it or we just want to keep the tension high, we'll understand in a few hours, when the teams will compete for city supremacy on the lawn of the Stadium. We already talked abundantly about the overwhelming pro Juve numbers yesterday, as well as the proverbial "Toro heart", always reluctant to surrender in the face of the enemy of all time, however it is clear that this derby, at least on paper, sees the great favorite in the Lady.

“This is a different match from all the others, regardless of the technical values – replied Massimiliano Allegri in the press conference. – We start from 0-0, they will give us battle, it won't be easy also because Toro is in a good moment ". However, the numbers (here they are again!) do not seem to agree with the Juventus coach: apart from the Europa League, the grenades come from two consecutive defeats (Roma and Sassuolo) and have not won for over a month (1-0 over Parma).

“But we can put anyone in difficulty – the thought of Emiliano Moretti, who presented himself at the press conference in Ventura's place. – Juve are a great team, maybe even more than last year. But we will play it, if we sacrifice ourselves we can all try ”. The Lady will not be able to make discounts and this regardless of the city rivalry. Winning would give a big jolt to the standings and put further pressure on Roma, who are engaged shortly after against Inter.

“It's a fundamental game for us – admitted Allegri. – I don't know how Ventura will make his players play, I think they will play a good game but we will have to be better. I fear El Kaddouri and Quagliarella, we will be ready”. The Juventus coach, after the away game in Malmoe, could do some turnover but in this sense there are no certainties. The only certain change is that of Evra for the suspended Padoin, for the rest there is an open ballot between Vidal (favourite) and Pereyra.

“He needs to play – the hint given by Allegri in the conference. – He's a little behind the others due to the physical problems you all know, but I think he's been playing good games lately. From the outside he gets criticized every time he doesn't score, but he plays well even when he doesn't score." It would seem an investiture but the excellent conditions of the Argentine keep the duel alive. On the other hand, there is no doubt about the formation, that 4-3-1-2 which, so far, has given truly excellent results.

In defense, in front of Buffon, there will be Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini and Evra, in midfield Marchisio, Pirlo and Pogba, on the frontline Vidal, behind the duo Tevez-Llorente. Torino will respond with a rather defensive 3-5-1-1, in which the former Quagliarella stands out, eager for revenge after being unloaded in the summer (only bench instead for Amauri).
