Greece will exit the euro if the second bailout fails

Greece will exit the eurozone if the second bailout deal for 130 billion fails. This was announced by Greek government spokesman Pantelis Kapsis speaking on Skai TV, as reported by the BBC website.

“The bailout agreement must be signed otherwise we will be out of the markets, out of the Euro” said the spokesman referring to the 130 billion tranche of aid expected from the EU, the International Monetary Fund and private creditors. Inspectors from the EU, IMF and ECB are expected in Athens during the month of January to define the details of the bailout plan which in October was made conditional by European leaders on the adoption of further measures to cut the deficit and to restructure the Greek economy.
