France returns to growth: GDP +0,3% in the third quarter

France picks up the slope. The country of Frnaçois Hollande recorded a GDP growth of 2014% in the third quarter of 0,3 compared to the second quarter, which had marked a decrease of 0,1%. This was announced by the Insee statistical institute which thus confirms the preliminary estimate. Compared to the third quarter of last year, GDP grew by 0,4%.

In the third quarter, private consumption grew by 0,3%, public spending by 0,6%, while exports increased by 0,5 percent. During the period, again according to Insee, household revenues grew by 0,2%, against +0,4% in the second quarter. The average per capita wage paid by non-financial firms rose 0,3%, as in the second quarter, but employment fell 0,1% (flat in the second quarter). Household gross disposable income grew by 0,5%, in line with the previous quarter.
