The Mps Foundation sells 0,34% of Intesa Sanpaolo and the stake in Mediobanca becomes transferable

The Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation yesterday sold its stake in Intesa Sanpaolo (equal to 0,34% after the capital increase) to the Cariplo Foundation "with full satisfaction on both sides" and relocated the stake held in Mediobanca , equal to 1,9%, among those potentially transferable. As regards the latter stake (the Foundation sits with a director on the Mediobanca board of directors and until yesterday it considered its stake strategic) it has been moved from fixed to non-fixed stakes. "There is nothing in sight for Mediobanca, but we constantly monitor all the assets that are under observation to make the most convenient choices for the foundation", said the president of the MPS foundation Gabriello Mancini on the sidelines of the Siena industrial assembly .
