The Vettel effect sends Ferrari flying on the stock market. After victory in Formula 1 at the Australian Grand Prix, the Cavallino stock has strung up and up and yesterday it overtook its cousins of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (Fca) in capitalisation.
At the close of yesterday's stock market session in Piazza Affari, Ferrari, after the share's rise to 69 euros, is worth 13 billion and 380 million, a step above FCA which capitalizes 13 billion and 208 million.
In addition to the sporting victories, the Ferrari title was driven by its classification as a luxury rather than an automotive title and Sergio Marchionne, number one of the two houses, rejoices.
