Preliminary net revenues up 16,1%, equal to 135,2 million euros, particularly significant increases in Europe (+17%), North America (+23%), China (+52%) and Asian markets. And again: increasing turnover in all sales channels with increases in the single-brand channel, both retail (+49%) and franchising (+47%), and positive results in the multi-brand network. “We are more than satisfied with how things are going for our company – comments Brunello Cucinelli -. We are particularly happy with the data, which also on the basis of the quality of sales lead us to imagine a very interesting six-month period of profitability. We think there is much attention worldwide to this well-crafted Italian luxury sporty chic way of dressing, which narrates that belief in beauty, literature and science that represent our culture”.

As for the moment that "our splendid Italy is experiencing - he continues - we believe we have regained trust and international credibility and I am sure that all our qualities as a people of geniuses and improvisers, of men who find unity, solidarity, a spirit of rebirth in adversity (as our great genius Roberto Benigni defines us), will return to make us a great people".

Around 16 pm, despite the good results but in the context of a dramatic day for Piazza Affari, Cucinelli's share on the Stock Exchange loses 2,2%.
