The event was held in Milan, at Palazzo Lombardia, " “Start-ups and innovative companies meet investors” organized by the Lombardy Region - DG Research, Innovation, University, Export and Internationalization and Finlombarda, in collaboration with the European Commission's network of support for small and medium-sized enterprises Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).

Many times covered: from the X-ray inspection system that performs real-time quality control on food by identifying foreign bodies, contaminants or defects in production, to the technology for reducing air pollution without a filter, water-based, with low energy consumption and zero waste to purify and control air quality in urban, industrial, workplace, commercial and domestic environments. And yet the software in the Internet of Things that converts devices, "things", into shareable data streams which then a blockchain-based platform allows whoever owns them to allow or deny access.

At the heart of the initiative, co-financed by the EU, is the meeting between innovative companies - over 80 companies present, including 70 startups - and 25 Italian and foreign investors, including Fondo Italiano d'Investimento Sgr, Invitalia Ventures Sgr, P101 , Sofinnova Partners, Value Italy Sgr .

The event represents the final phase of a process of accompaniment to companies divided into various training moments, some offered by the national EEN program dedicated to "Scaleups", which concerned, among other things, the management of innovation, relationships with large investors and last but not least the preparation of a successful pitch that allows you to be exhaustive and persuasive in just a few minutes.
