Despite China's third devaluation of the yuan in three days, the Tokyo Stock Exchange rebounded, with the Nikkei index closing trading up 0,99% (+202,78 points), at 20.595,55 points.
The broad Topix index, after being in the red for most of the session, also finished higher (+0,13%, at 1.667,95 points).
The day was very lively, with approximately 2,8 billion shares traded on the primary market.
