The Stock Exchange runs and the spread drops: Piazza Affari dances to 23

Markets celebrate with oil, although crude oil prices eased during the session, after mixed US weekly inventories data. Piazza Affari closes at the top since 2015, at 22.991 points, +0,87%, after even exceeding 23.000 points in the middle of the day. The main price list is driven by Saipem, +5,27%; Eni also did well, +1,28% and Tenaris +0,68%. The Agnelli galaxy is still in light, with Cnh +2,55%; FCA +2,09%; Ferrari +0,87%; Exor +1,45%. Money on Generali +1,73 and the Stm share, +1,88%, since the beginning of the year, manages to almost double the value. The microchip manufacturer is now taking advantage of Sony's boom (+11%) in Tokyo, thanks to a record quarterly. The most traded stock of the session is Unicredit, but with a modest price variation, +0,18%. Sales focus on Campari -1,24%; Buzzi -0,71%; Luxottica -0,53%; Mediaset -0,44%; Banca Mediolanum -0,41%.

Positive session for bondso, but with reduced volumes for the festive day. The yield of the 10-year BTP is 1,8%; the spread with the Bund stops at a one-year low at 142.40 points, -2,4%.

Different speeds for the other European price lists: returns to greater Frankfurt, +1,78%, closed yesterday for holidays; positive Paris +0,2%; in red Madrid, -0,16%, after two sessions of gains. London is practically unchanged, -0,07% the pound has also moved little, awaiting a possible, albeit modest, increase in interest rates by the BoE tomorrow, the first in ten years. On the other hand, no adjustments are expected this evening by the Fed, the American central bank, but attention remains high, because it is one of the last meetings with Janet Yellen at the top, given that tomorrow Donald Trump should announce who will take the place of the current governor when his mandate expires in February. Provided that the US president does not decide to confirm Yellen herself in her role, given that today he defined her as "excellent".

Opening bell tuned for Wall Street, observing a minute's silence for the dead of the New York bombing. The three main lists touch further records, even if the Nasdaq, at the moment, is moving on the edge of parity. Among the positive headlines we find FCA US, despite the fact that US registrations fell by 13% in October.

Slight decline of the euro against the dollar, with the cross around 1,16. Brent -0,33%, 60,74 dollars a barrel. Small step forward for gold, +0,52%, 1277.22 dollars an ounce.
