The Stock Exchange accelerates looking at the Fed and the ECB, Ferragamo flies

After a weak start, the European markets mark widespread increases. The automotive sector is highlighted with FCA and Volkswagen. Luxury rears its head: Ferragamo, promoted, is the best but Moncler, Yoox and Luxottica are also doing well – Oil is weak while the decline in the euro and BTP yields continues pending the choices of central banks

The fall of the euro continues today, in view of the ECB meeting, trading at 1,057 against the dollar, from 1,059 on Friday evening. Meanwhile, yields on the bond market are also falling: the 10-year BTP is trading at 1,40%, the lowest since the end of March. The spread with the Bund is 93 basis points. Bonds up to two years have negative rates and the five-year yield is at its lowest ever, in the 0,44% area. 

In November, the price index rose by only 0,1% year on year. And the economic figure even shows a drop of 0,4%.

After a weak start, the European stock exchanges accelerated in mid-morning presenting a picture characterized by widespread increases. In Milan, the FtseMib index rises by 0,4%, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange rises by 0,7% as do Madrid, Paris +0,4%. Down London -0,7%.

In great evidence the European Automotive +1,2%. Fiat Chrysler salt by 1,3% in parallel with Exor up 1,3%. in Frankfurt Volkswagen earn 1,9%. 

Brembo earns 2,2%.

The tech sector is also lively (Eurostoxx +0,9%): StM rises by 1,1% in the wake of the German la Infineon, Europe's second largest chipmaker, rose 3,2%. 

Positive Finmeccanica +1,2%. Mediobanca Securities raised the target price from 14,90 to 15,80 euro.

Oil is weak: Brent fell this morning by 0,2% to 44,7 dollars a barrel, after losing 1,3% on Friday. Eni retreats by 0,2%,  Saipem -0,1%.

Saras drops by 0,9%: Nomura cut the rating to Reduce da Buy. 

Among the utilities Enel up 0,3%, good rise by A2A +1,9%, promoted to Buy from Neutral by Banca Akros. 

Telecom Italy drops by 0,4%. 

It stands out among the major banks Understanding + 1,4% Unicredit unchanged, Mount Paschi -0,2%.  Banca Pop.Emilia rises by 1,1%. 

In asset management  Anima+ 1,3% Azimuth  + 0,9%.

The recovery of luxury stocks, which last week suffered from geopolitical tensions after the shooting down of the Russian jet, is also taking place in Piazza Affari, together with the travel and tourism sectors. Autogrill increases by 1,8%

Exane Bnp Paribas awarded Ferragamo 4%, promoted to Outperform (from Neutral).

Also good Moncler +2,1% despite the fact that in the report on the luxury sector Exane-BnpParibas cut the target by 9% to 16 euros, from 17,5 euros.

 Yoox + 1,7% Luxottica + 1,2%.

Fiera Milano drops by 3,7% to 3,086 euros on the first day of the capital increase.
