With the "Befana comes at night" the Teatro del Lido di Ostia is preparing to host many new appointments with exhibitions, music, shows and workshops for everyone.

The Befana comes at night to the Lido Theater in Ostia: the 2017 calendar

Friday 6 January from 16.30 will be the Allegra Banderuola to open the new year of the Teatro Lido di Ostia, on the outskirts of Rome, offering an afternoon of celebration with the XIII edition of La Befana vien di notte: an event of theatre, music and narration for families and children of all ages, a fairy village with many imaginary, funny and bewildered characters.

Among the numerous appointments with the theater we highlight Giuditta Cambieri on Saturday 14 January in “In silence, a sign is enough”, a 'differently comic' cabaret. Using speech, LIS (Italian Sign Language) and body language, the artist overcomes the barrier of communication between deaf and hard of hearing and makes his comic reflections reach everyone at the same time. Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February scheduled "La Letter di Paolo Nan"i, a show that boasts more than 1.200 performances all over the world.

Dance shows are back on stage: Sunday 26 February the preview of R.OSA 10 exercises for new virtuosity (direction, dramaturgy and choreography by Silvia Gribaudi) and Saturday 25 March ALDES with Treatise on Economics. (project, dramaturgy, direction Roberto Castello and Andrea Cosentino).

The foyer will continue to host exhibitions that can be visited free of charge from Friday to Sunday from 16 to 20 pm. Not to be missed, from 10 to 29 January, You are my enemy and I make you "Hearts" video installation by Alan Bianchi (BeeAnkee) on format by Betta Cianchini and VitainGrata photographic exhibition curated by Pino Rampolla whose common theme is the Heart, Love and Hate, Imprisonment and Freedom.

Still lots of music from the author's NeoFolk with "Trase" by Sancto Ianne, to classical music by the O. Respighi Conservatory of Latina and the EOS Female Choir.

Also scheduled are theater and visual arts workshops, L'Attore e il suo double curated by Teatrino Giullare focused on the theatrical relationships between word, human and artificial (February 9 and 10) and Come si illustra un libro curated by Rita Petruccioli focused on illustration for publishing (Friday 17 March).
