From next April 16th Fabio Bariletti will be the new CEO of Kairos Investment Management and Kairos Partners sgr (Kairos) in place of Paolo Basilico, co-founder of the company, who has decided to take a step back and to comply with his long-term succession plan. Basilico will remain in the Kairos group as an advisor.

The official announcement came on the morning of 8 April by Julius Baer, who controls 100% of Kairos.

Paul Basil declared: “Bariletti has been designated as my successor for some time. We have built a solid and unique business, which I leave in capable hands. The decision to take a step back wasn't an easy decision, but I think the timing is right for me personally and for the club."

Bariletti has been working within the company for about 20 years and has been involved in the development of the multi management business. To date he has held the role of CEO of the London branch, specializing in single manager and multi manager alternative funds.

Bernhard Hodler, CEO of Julius Baer stated: “On behalf of Julius Baer, I thank Paolo Basilico for the partnership with Kairos, which began in 2013, with the initial acquisition of a minority stake. Under the guidance of Bariletti Kairos will continue his work with customers and management by offering distinctive products. Together we will work to ensure prosperity for Kairos in the future”.
