Juventus: Del Piero will go abroad and the bianconeri are looking for a new top player

“I thank all the Italian companies that have called me, even more than once. But obviously my future in Italy cannot exist with another shirt”. Alessandro Del Piero has not officially clarified what will be his next destination, but one thing is certain: he will no longer play in Serie A. The bond with Juventus is too strong to "betray" him, even if not by his own choice. The Captain swears eternal loyalty to the Old Lady, almost a duty after the demonstrations of affection received from the Juventus people: "What they gave me in terms of affection, love, gratitude and all the rest, is one of my most beautiful cups, if not the most beautiful. I will never stop thanking those who gave me a greeting like the one in Turin, something that gave me chills".

But the Del Piero footballer will not end here. Alex still wants to play, but above all to try a good life experience: “In the next few days I'll do an analysis of all the opportunities, then I'll decide where to play next year, certainly abroad. I have no preclusions, I'm not thinking about playing the Champions League or a particular league, I'll choose the ideal situation for me. My family will follow me."

Waiting to know the exact destination of Del Piero (expected by the end of June, most likely in the USA), Juventus turn the page and continue the hunt for the number 10 of the future. In Antonio Conte's dreams it should be Van Persie, but snatching the Dutchman from the clutches of Manchester City won't be easy. In the meeting that took place two weeks ago in Turin (in which the player was present), Marotta was clear: the offer is 6 million a year, take it or leave it. Van Persie wants 8, exactly the ones Manchester City offered him, not to mention that the Premier League fascinates him much more than Serie A.

Juventus hope to convince him through the project, which would see him as the undisputed star of the club, complete with a number 10 shirt, but at the moment the chances of beating the competition from the sheikhs are low. That's why Marotta also works on other tables: from Suarez to Higuain (by the way, Paratici was in Madrid last night for the Copa del Rey final…) passing through Cavani, without forgetting the young Destro. Meanwhile, a new name has appeared, that of Alexander Kolarov, who in Conte's plans would become the undisputed master of the left wing.
