It's official: the Juventus ha concluded thecapital increase of 200 million euros, with 97,6% already subscribed by shareholders. There remained a modest 2,4% of new shares outstanding, equal to 6.119.436 unexercised stock options. The Juventus club itself announced it through a press release published on its official website. With this, Juventus has completed its third capital increase in just over four years, bringing the total to 900 million euros.
The unopted was placed today, 3 April, during the first session of the offer on Euronext Milan, with rights that allowed the purchase of the shares at 1,582 euros, with an offer of one share for every two rights.
After the conclusion of the operation, the Juventus club's stock recorded an increase of 1,11% to 2,186 euros (15 pm). The exercise of the remaining option rights raised Exor, the majority shareholder, who was not obliged to cover the unsubscribed portion. Therefore, the Stellantis and Ferrari holding company participated in the recapitalization only in proportion to its share (63,8%), paying approximately 127 million euros.
