Juve, sixth consecutive championship: it's in the legend

Juve wins its sixth consecutive Scudetto and enters the legend: no one had ever succeeded in Italy. In front of a jubilant stadium, the Bianconeri made them the new tricolor (the third of the Allegri era and the sixth of the president Agnelli) clearly beating a never tame Crotone who until the end desperately tried to keep alive their hopes of salvation by contrasting the Italian champions without awe.

But Juve, fresh winners of the Coppa Italia, could not fail and in fact they have fully achieved their objective by also mathematically winning the new Scudetto and rendering ineffective yesterday's victories by Rome, which remains four points behind, and Napoli, who he is five points behind.

In the first half, Mandzukic's goals opened the way to victory for Juventus, following an assist from Dybala, and Dybala himself who, with one of his usual magic, converted an extraordinary free-kick into the net. In the second half, Dani Alves rounded up the result.

In a single day, Juve set two records: six consecutive Scudettos and three consecutive pairings between the Scudetto and the Italian Cup. How come no one. Now he is aiming for the Champions League: in early June he will play the final in Cardiff against world champions Real Madrid.

Crotone could do nothing in the face of a stratospheric Juve but they fought with honor and still have a feeble hope of salvation because they also lost to Empoli (0 to 1 with Atalanta) who maintain a single point lead. The last one of the championship will be that of the long-distance play-off.
