Juve, Roma and Fiorentina advance in Europe and today Inter face Spezia with an eye on the Champions League

Inter anticipates in Liguria in view of the difficult trip to Oporto in the Champions League - Di Maria gives Juve the victory in the Europa League - Rome and Fiorentina are ok too

Juve, Roma and Fiorentina advance in Europe and today Inter face Spezia with an eye on the Champions League

Down again with the championship. The week of cups ended with victories for Juventus (1-0 over Freiburg, goals from Di Maria), Roma (2-0 over Real Sociedad, goals from El Shaarawy and Kumbulla) and Fiorentina (1-0 over Sivasspor, goals from Barak) it is already time to dive back into the A league, ready to open its doors with Spezia-Inter. The Nerazzurri anticipate Friday to prepare more calmly for the away game in Oporto, but they won't have to make the mistake of thinking about the Champions too early: knows something about the Milan, defeated in Florence just before the London venture. After all, getting into the top four won't be as glamorous as qualifying for the quarter-finals, but it's just as important, if not even more.

Spezia – Inter (at 20.45 pm, DAZN)

The Nerazzurri arrive in La Spezia as second in the standings, but with a gap that is still too close to their pursuers: just think that Milan, currently fifth (on a par with Roma), are only 3 points away. Any missteps must be avoided at all costs, especially as Inter have already slipped too many times on banana peels in the championship. The problem has always arisen after great victories and never before, but this time we need to keep our antennas up, given that the next matches will be Porto and Juventus. The Ligurian away match thus inaugurates a very heavy week, both from a physical and mental point of view, that's why Inzaghi just can't fail the appointment with victory: any other result, in fact, would create enormous problems in the environment on the eve of two fundamental challenges such as those mentioned above.

Inzaghi warns his team: "We need maximum attention, it will be tough against Spezia"

“A difficult match awaits us, against a team that has a very specific goal for which they are fighting – thought Inzaghi -. He has changed coaches, he has come from two draws in a row, we will have to interpret the game in the best way, by keeping things simple. Last Sunday we reacted well by playing an excellent match against Lecce, now we must continue like this, with this determination, starting from Spezia. If it can be time for turn for Lukaku? We know his value, he came from a problematic period and is now giving excellent signs. He trains in the best possible way every day, he scored an important goal with Porto and we want him to continue improving his condition, but beyond Romelu we have many strong players, all of them will be precious from now to the end."

Semplici believes it: "We need points, we'll have to play a great match"

“In my opinion Inter have by far the strongest squad in the Italian league, when you face a team like this you try to go and occupy the pitch so that they can't express themselves optimally – Semplici said -. They had some continuity problems this season, but it's up to us to put them in trouble with our qualities. If we play an exclusively defensive game it will be difficult to bring the result home, we have to have a great race to snatch a few points from an opponent like this. Usually it is said that there is nothing to lose against the big teams, but this doesn't apply to us. Personality and initiative will be needed, the ones we may have lacked on Sunday in the first half against Verona".

Spezia - Inter, the formations: Lukaku and Brozovic starting, then many ballots

However, the training choices cannot fail to take Porto into account, which is why Inzaghi could do some turnover in all departments, also due to theabsence of Skriniar (he will be back on Wednesday) and the lame conditions of Marco's, summoned but not at his best. The Nerazzurri coach's 3-5-2 will thus see Onana in goal, Darmian, Acerbi (ballot with De Vrij) and Bastoni in defence, Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Mkhitaryan (favorite over Calhanoglu) and Gosens in midfield, Lukaku and Lautaro in attack, even if Toro plays with Dzeko. Simple, forced to give up the disqualified Reca, will respond with a 4-2-3-1 with Dragowski in goal, Amian, Ampadu, Caldara and Nikolaou in the back, Bourabia and Ekdal in the midfield, Verde, Agudelo and Gyasi behind the lone striker Nzola.
