Juve, record of 10 victories and Napoli at the crossroads: either they win or they are out

With the 2-0 win over Udinese, Juve set a new European record with 10 straight wins (8 in the league and 2 in the Champions League) and launched the new challenge against Napoli, who are 9 points behind: either the team by Ancelotti beats Sassuolo or is already out of the game for the Scudetto.

Juve, record of 10 victories and Napoli at the crossroads: either they win or they are out

And they are 10! Juventus also beats Udine thus obtaining the tenth victory of the season in as many games, eight in the league and two in the Champions League. Extraordinary numbers, which in addition to pleasing on a statistical level give the Lady a spectacular ranking, even better than the already very high summer expectations. Suffice it to say that Napoli are minus 9: Ancelotti will only play today, all right, but the gap is still crazy, especially since the direct match has already taken place, obviously in favor of the bianconeri. The success in Udine then confirms that mental strength is also to be applauded and this can only bury the dreams of all the others, who are forced, once again, to postpone their dreams of glory. Two goals were enough for the Dacia Arena, both in the first half, to close the practice and archive another 3 points, also keeping Szczesny's goal clean sheet. First Bentancur with a header (33'), then Ronaldo with a splendid first intention left foot (37'): in less than a time the Friulians were already on the ropes. The second half then took place with substantial Juventus domination, even if Allegri risked conceding a goal that could have reopened the games. It didn't happen and so the Lady was able to celebrate yet another victory of the season. “It could have been difficult but the boys did well, they played perhaps the best game – commented Allegri. – It could have been a risky game but the boys showed great maturity, I had asked for a nice stop and not to concede a goal, I was satisfied".

Tonight, therefore, Napoli are called to win, on pain of abdicating, perhaps definitively, any expectation (but perhaps it would be better to say hope) of the Scudetto. Ancelotti knows this well and is also aware of how Sassuolo (18 pm) can create problems, which is why he will carry out the usual turnover in an attempt to send the freshest and most motivated men available onto the field. The victory against Liverpool gave a lot of morale, but it also took away a lot of energy: hence the need to shuffle the cards a bit, something in which Carletto, moreover, excels like few others in the world. The only thing that won't change will be the 4-4-2, now chosen as the basic system, for the rest many new features and some confirmations. In defense, in front of Ospina's goal, space for Malcuit, Maksimovic, Koulibaly and Hysaj, with Callejon, Diawara, Zielinski and Verdi in midfield and the Mertens-Insigne couple in attack. Usual 4-3-3 also for De Zerbi, who will attempt the feat relying on Consigli between the posts, Lirola, Marlon, Ferrari and Rogerio in the back department, Bourabia, Locatelli and Sensi in the midfield, Berardi, Boateng and Di Francesco in the trident offensive.
