Juve, Naples and Rome: watch out for traps

On paper, the meetings of Juve (against Benevento) and Naples (with Chievo) are quite easy but the drop in concentration after the Champions League can be a handicap – The big match between Fiorentina and Roma is more unpredictable

All against all, moreover at the same time. The championship Sunday that we are about to experience will see all the contenders for the scudetto take to the field, and if Inter play first against Turin, the others will compete remotely in an afternoon of yesteryear, in which the radios (even if perhaps it would be better to say the apps) will return to be the protagonists. Chievo-Naples, Juventus-Benevento, Fiorentina-Roma, Lazio-Udinese: here it is the very rich menu at 15 pm, intended to tell us something more about an increasingly complicated title race.

Leaders Napoli shouldn't have major problems at Bentegodi, provided that the post-Champions fatigue (and disappointment) has already been overcome: otherwise, in fact, Chievo could play a trick on the Azzurri. Sarri does not want a drop in tension and will limit turnover to a minimum, except for that Ghoulam which he will have to give up for most of the championship.

His 4-3-3 will see Reina in goal, Maggio, Albiol, Koulibaly and Hysaj in defence, Zielinski, Diawara and Hamsik in midfield, Callejon, Mertens and Insigne in attack. Maran will respond with a 4-3-1-2 with Sorrentino, Cacciatore, Dainelli, Gamberini, Gobbi, Castro, Radovanovic, Hetemaj, Birsa, Meggiorini and Inglese.

Even more obvious match, at least on paper, that of Turin, where Juventus will receive Benevento bringing up the rear. It is very unlikely that De Zerbi's team, last with 0 points (negative record in the history of the championship) can create any minimal problems for the Lady, Allegri however does not trust her and demands the utmost physical and mental commitment. “There is something to win, not to experiment, I've seen a lot in football and the race must be won – she warned at the press conference. – Benevento will not let us win easily, we will have to achieve success on the pitch. They are still zero and the numbers are dangerous. Whoever goes on the field will have to do well, there will be some changes but for the most part they will play those on Tuesday". So no mass turnover, just a few normal substitutions for those with a roster full of names and alternatives. The Juventus 4-2-3-1 will see Szczesny in goal, Lichtsteiner, Rugani, Chiellini and Alex Sandro in defence, Marchisio and Matuidi in midfield, Bernardeschi, Dybala and Douglas Costa behind the lone striker Higuain. 3-4-2-1 for De Zerbi, who will attempt the miracle (it is appropriate to say it) with Brignoli, Venuti, Antei, Di Chiara, Lombardi, Viola, Chibsah, Lazaar, Cataldi, Memushaj and Coda.

The most interesting match would seem to be that of Florence, where Pioli's Viola will receive Di Francesco's very fast Roma, back from the 3-0 defeat of Chelsea and increasingly determined to have their say also in terms of the Scudetto. The least game to recover against Sampdoria dances on the Giallorossi's standings, for the rest very important numbers (best defense in the championship with only 5 goals conceded) and the feeling of still having large margins for improvement. “Later we will make the evaluations, now it is too early to say if we are from the title or not – glossed over Di Francesco. – We have to recover the lost ground, we are chasing the desire to stay close to the teams ahead. To do it again tomorrow we have to win, I want a determined match like against Chelsea”. At Franchi we will see the usual 4-3-3 with Alisson in goal, Florenzi, Manolas, Fazio and Kolarov in defence, Pellegrini, Gonalons and Nainggolan in midfield, El Shaarawy, Dzeko and Perotti in attack. Mirror form for Pioli, who will try to return to success with Sportiello between the posts, Gaspar, Pezzella, Astori and Biraghi in the back department, Benassi, Badelj and Veretout in the midfield, Chiesa, Simeone and Gil Dias in the offensive trident.
