Juve: Locatelli, the soap opera continues. Inter poised between Correa and Insigne

The white smoke slips again. Yet another meeting between Juventus and Sassuolo brought the parties closer together, but not enough to officially sanction Locatelli's transfer to Juventus. Allegri, who yesterday reiterated the club's absolute need to win again ("in March we will have to be fighting for the Scudetto, for sure" he explained in the press conference), will thus have to wait a little longer to get the first reinforcement in midfield, absolutely essential in the light of technical shortcomings and injuries. For Sassuolo's longed-for yes, there is no agreement on the formula, not on the price, given that the parties they reached an agreement for 35 million: the neroverdi however, while opening up to the loan, want the obligation to buy out while the bianconeri want to link it to the achievement of some objectives. The appointment is therefore postponed until after August 31th, just like for Pjanic, the other hot name on Cherubini's notebook. The weekend in question, however, will be a bit of reflection for everyone, a sort of pit stop before the decisive laps, i.e. those that will lead to the finish line on August XNUMXst.

However, the start of the championship is already an important deadline, which is why it is reasonable to expect a fiery next week, in which the big names will try to bring home their respective goals, or at least part of them. Inter, after buying Dzeko and Dumfries (12,5 million plus 2,5 bonuses went to PSV), has somehow buffered the departures of Lukaku and Hakimi, so they can move without excessive haste, it being understood that the pink, as it is, is not complete. In fact, Inzaghi needs another valuable striker, able to enrich a department that has lost its leader. The dream would be Vlahovic but the current budget available to Marotta doesn't even allow him to get close, especially as the Serbian is loved by Atletico Madrid, ready to pay out 60 million, and Tottenham, who would bet on him in case of sale of Kane (the viola ds Burdisso however reiterated his non-transferability). In short, it is almost impossible to see him in the Nerazzurri, unlike Correa and Insigne, to date the most likely candidates. The Argentine is Inzaghi's favourite, as we have seen in these years of fruitful collaboration at Lazio, but Lotito continues to value him at 40 million.

Too many, even if the feeling is that the price will drop over the weeks: the biancocelesti in fact have the market blocked and need a sale, otherwise the reinforcements requested by Sarri (Kostic of Eintracht and Basic of Bordeaux) risk disappearing . Inter are waiting, but in the meantime they are looking around, looking for interesting opportunities: one of these could be represented by Insigne, whose contractual situation with Napoli authorizes them to be on the alert. Lorenzo and De Laurentiis are very far from the renewal, so a transfer, although not obvious, seems more than possible. But woe to think that the blue president gets caught by the throat, which is why the 16 million offered by Inter leave the time they find: should they become 25, the discussions would change, but at the moment we are still in the order of hypothesis. Accelerated in sight instead for Milan, which after Kessié's injury (flexor injury) needs a reinforcement in midfield, able to play first of all on the trocar, but also a few meters further back.

The identikit corresponds to the name of Yacine Adli, a 21-year-old Frenchman from Bordeaux, now at the top of Maldini and Massara's list. The agreement with the transalpine club was found on the basis of 10 million, now all that remains is to file the last details after which Pioli, barring twists, will have Calhanoglu's replacement. A few days of waiting also for Florenzi, chosen for alternating with Calabria in the role of right-back, but also with Saelemaekers a few meters ahead. At the moment, however, Roma are madly engaged in the attacker race, which is why Tiago Pinto has put all other operations on stand-by, at least until after August XNUMXth. The sporting director flew to London to meet Tammy Abraham, indicated by Mourinho as first choice, but the Chelsea forward is a niche, attracted as he is by Arsenal. Roma are trying to convince him, but it is clear that if he doesn't succeed, he will throw himself into the alternatives, which correspond to the names of Ihenacho from Lesicester, Azmoun from Zenit and Cunha from Herta Berlin.

It continues without ringing instead the Naples market, regardless of the Insigne affair: Spalletti has asked for a left-back, a central defender and a midfielder, but at the moment he hasn't had any of the three. For the first, Emerson Palmieri vanished, the favorite is Reinildo of Lille, the second could be Maksimovic, in talks with Giuntoli after the expiry of the old contract, the third has the connotations of Sander Berge, 23 year old from Sheffield United: De Laurentiis has assured that, within a few days, everything will be in order, Spalletti crosses his fingers and hopes that this is exactly the case, also because, in the meantime, the rumors about the usual PSG's interest in Koulibaly continue. By next week, definitive answers should arrive on the future of Simy (increasingly close to the newly promoted Salernitana), Callejon (Sarri asked Lotito), Boga (Gasperini's passion) and Nandez, now in total break with Cagliari. In France and Spain, on the other hand, there will be a lot of talk about Mbappé, whose permanence in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower is not yet certain, beyond the ritual declarations of Pochettino. On the French phenomenon there is Real Madrid, determined to take the front pages of the whole world after a quiet summer, but convincing Al-Khelaifi will not be easy at all.
