Juve, the Scudetto is his thanks to Toro who stops Napoli

By drawing in Naples, the former Mazzarri's Bull virtually delivers the seventh consecutive Scudetto to Juve – Only mathematics prevents the Bianconeri from celebrating immediately but between Juve and Napoli there is a 16-goal advantage in goal difference, impossible to bridge in two games only – Juve is already thinking about the Italian Cup final, Napoli is crying and perhaps saying goodbye to Sarri

Juve, the Scudetto is his thanks to Toro who stops Napoli

Turin delivers the Scudetto to Juve. The grenade draw at the San Paolo, in fact, also removes the last uncertainty about the fight for the gold medal, destined (barring incredible twists) to end up on the black and white shirts for the seventh time in a row. This is how things stand: Juventus are champions even in the event of a double defeat against Rome and Verona and against Napoli winning against Genoa and against Crotone, thanks to the goal difference which sees Allegri lead by 16 goals, an enormous number which is impossible to overturn in just two shifts.

In short, only mathematics prevented the black and whites from taking to the streets yesterday but the party has only been postponed, in defiance of those who thought that this would have been a championship contested until the last second. Here however, in addition to the merits of Juve, there are the faults of Napoli, who after having cleared Turin and deluding themselves that they could win only picked up one point between Florence and yesterday's match.

However, the grenades showed up on the pitch without Belotti and Iago Falque, both on the bench due to strange technical choices by Mazzarri, but despite this they managed to stop the Azzurri at 2-2, moreover coming back twice. Mertens' goal (25') had deceived San Paolo, Baselli's equalizer (55') had brought him back to clay, foreshadowing an afternoon that was decidedly less simple than expected.

The missile under Hamsik's cross (71', goal number 100 for the Slovakian in Serie A) seemed to have banished the nightmares but De Silvestri's header (83') brought them back to the Fuorigrotta lawn again. Doveri's final whistle sanctioned the end of the Scudetto dream and, perhaps, also of the cycle of Sarri and some of his players, as evidenced by the tears of some (Jorginho above all) and by the banners of San Paolo, who sided compactly with the coach in this internal dispute against De Laurentiis.

The coach didn't like some peppery comments from the president, who in turn is affected by the constant postponements on the renewal speech. In short, the paths of the two seem destined to separate, with Sarri intrigued by the Premier hypothesis (the English press speaks of a very concrete interest from Chelsea) and ADL from the current Sampdoria coach Giampaolo.

"I'm sorry if the president is not happy but I feel I have a clear conscience - the laconic comment of the coach - I did everything for the good of the team, to score the most points in the event that is most dear to the Neapolitans" .

There could have been a Scudetto in the general jubilation, but instead it risks ending up amidst accusations and controversies. Proving that the result, after all, is always the most important thing.
