Juve-Inter postponed to May, along with 4 other matches

The five matches initially scheduled behind closed doors in this round of Serie A will be made up for May 13, before the penultimate matchday: in addition to the big match, Udinese-Fiorentina, Milan-Genoa, Parma-Spal and Sassuolo-Brescia – Lazio on the pitch.

Juve-Inter postponed to May, along with 4 other matches

The coronavirus still affects Serie A. In this round, after the five postponements of last Sunday (including Inter's home match against Sampdoria), another five games were scheduled behind closed doors, including the Scudetto match between Juventus and Inter to be played at the Allianz Stadium of Turin.

But the Serie A League, taking note of the decision of the Council of Ministers, having consulted the Civil Protection, then established that it is better not to play those five games at all, and postpone them to a date already set and very distant in time: Wednesday 13 May (it will therefore be a midweek round, given that the calendar is saturated), practically a few days before the penultimate day of the championship, set for the weekend of May 16-17, while the last day will be May 24 and the Italian Cup final will be postponed to Wednesday 20 May.

The championship challenge, if it will still be like this in two and a half months, will therefore be played in extremis, which could make it even more decisive. The other four postponed games are: Udinese-Fiorentina, Milan-Genoa, Parma-Spal and Sassuolo-Brescia. Regularly on the field instead Lazio-Bologna, Naples-Turin, Cagliari-Rome, Lecce-Atalanta and Sampdoria-Verona.
