Juve out of the Cups for a year, Musah in Milan, Sommer one step away from Inter, Roma goes wild with Sanchez

The UEFA decision, with a 20 million fine, affects market strategies and Juve thinks about sales. Inzaghi chases Morata, Osimhen towards renewal at Napoli

Juve out of the Cups for a year, Musah in Milan, Sommer one step away from Inter, Roma goes wild with Sanchez

Time starts to tick. The weekend that marks the end of July is not only valid for the first summer exodus, but also for the clubs of the Serie A, engaged in the field and negotiations. The friendlies, some of which are luxurious, such as Carson's match between Juventus and Milan (the Bianconeri won on penalties after a 2-2 draw in the 90'), are used to find the rhythm in view of the championship, but it is clear that the general focus is on to the market, the undisputed protagonist of the summer ball.

UEFA excludes Juve from the cups for a year (with a 20 million fine), Kessié towards the Premier League

The Juventus market is on the sly, at least for the moment. After all, the off-field problems held the scene for a long time and who knows if what happened on Friday represents the real turning point. There Uefa finally ruled on the case (7 months after the opening of the file) and opted for the sanction that everyone expected: one year ban from the European cups (Fiorentina will go to the Conference League) and a 20 million fine, 10 of which, however, with the conditional (if the 2023, 24 and 25 budgets do not comply with the requirements of the Financial Fair Play). Decision to which the Juventus club, as expected, will not appeal, preferring to close the dispute with a relative damage and prepare for the next season in the best possible way, in which, at this point, it will be able to concentrate only on the championship.

Scenario that relatively changes the market strategies, however based on account recovery and on future choices (see the Uruguayan Facundo Gonzalez of Valencia, who is getting closer and closer) or economically convenient. Kessié's loan could have been one of these, but the Ivorian prefers the Premier League and therefore has given a mandate to his agents to explore that path first. The rest doesn't particularly warm the hearts of the fans, who however understood Giuntoli's mission perfectly: to get to a big name, one must necessarily be sold. The candidates are always Vlahovic and Chiesa, but at the moment there are no noteworthy movements, even if they should not be absolutely excluded between now and the end of the market. In the background there is always Allegri's request to arrive at Lukaku, but the feeling is that it will still take some time before we see something significant, also because the list of redundancies is very long (Bonucci, Zakaria, McKennie…) and Giuntoli has every intention (as well as the need) to thin it out well before moving in.

Milan, Musah also arrives: and in the meantime Rebic goes to Türkiye

Milan are confirmed as the most active of all, so much so that they have practically closed the eighth signing of his summer. It's about yunus musah, the 21-year-old Valencia midfielder, arriving for a figure close to 20 million, including bonuses, which will complete a completely revolutionized department. The agreement with Besiktas was decisive for him, if only in terms of numbers Ante Rebic, who will go to play in Turkey on a permanent basis (the Rossoneri released him for free, but they will be able to collect around 2 million with bonuses, as well as save a salary of 3,5 million net). With the arrival of Musah, also supported by the owners due to his American nationality, the transfer market for AC Milan can be considered almost complete, despite Furlani and Moncada still looking a fullback (check the name of Mazzocchi, in addition to those of Singo and Calafiori) e a young striker (there is talk of the 20-year-old Argentinian Alejo Veliz, but Origi has to leave first). August will thus be dedicated to disposals, in the hope of cashing in something from the Origi and De Ketelaere redundancies, but Pioli can be said to be truly satisfied with the club's work.

Inter, Sommer one step away: now Inzaghi needs the striker

Longer times at Inter, where Marotta and Ausilio are still struggling with goalkeeper problem. In the last few hours, however, it has finally happened negotiation closed with Bayern Munich for Sommer, ready to join Inzaghi early next week. The operation had been addressed for some time, but the Germans had blocked it so as not to be left without a goalkeeper, in light of Neuer's injury: however, now the go-ahead has arrived and the Swiss will be able to marry the Nerazzurri for 4 million, 2 less of the release clause. Once the main emergency has been resolved, we will focus on the deputy, with Audero's name gaining more and more body given Shakhtar's resistance to Trubin, but the real priority at this point is the striker. Inzaghi needs it as soon as possible and has already given his share preference for Morata, considered the most ready on the list, the company however believes the demands are too high of Atletico Madrid (20 million) and looks with interest at Balogun of Arsenal, considered more futuristic. At the same time we work on the sale of Gosens to Wolfsburg, which would allow the entry of Carlos Augusto from Monza (the players from Brianza have already moved forward by taking Kyriakopoulos from Sassuolo) and upon the arrival of a defender, which could be Toloi from Atalanta.

Naples, Osimhen towards renewal: it's about the termination clause

Hectic hours at home in Naples, where the priority always remains Victor Osimhen. De Laurentiis is working to keep him and the ground, in this sense, is decidedly fertile: in fact, the Nigerian would also like to stay, provided however that he has the "right" contract. It's not a problem of salary, which would go from the current 4,5 million to 7, but of a release clause, essential for any future sale. Adl pushes to raise it to 140 million, the prosecutor Calenda would not like to go beyond 100: the feeling is that the roads can meet in the middle, to give Napoli the most important "purchase" of the summer. In a few days then he will gather for Kim's replacement, with the Greek Mavropanos from Stuttgart (also linked to Juve) in pole position over Danso (Lens, at least in words, took him off the market), Kilman and Itakura.

Rome unleashed: Renato Sanches one step away, McTominay is also in the sights

Important days also for Rome, which continues to make interesting operations despite the very limited availability. And so, after Aouar, N'Dicka and Kristensen, he is about to land in the capital Renato Sanches on loan with the right of redemption, obviously with a salary paid in part by PSG, along the lines of what was done last year with Wijnaldum. Mourinho will thus have a very important reinforcement in the middle of the field, but the shopping may not be over here: Pinto, precisely on the recommendation of the Special One, is also negotiating with Manchester United for McTominay, which could come with the usual convenient formula. At that point Roma would have only one box left to fill, even if the most important one, namely the forward, absolutely fundamental in light of Abraham's long injury. Needless to reiterate as the names of Scamacca and Morata are always on pole, considered perfect by Mou to give the assault on qualification in the Champions League.
