Juve and Inter, the derby is already in the transfer market too

From Icardi to Chiesa and Tonali, the battlegrounds on the market between Juve and Inter are multiplying day after day – Conte is preparing the revolution in attack, Sarri in midfield – Big news also in Naples while the corporate confusion penalizes Milan.

Juve and Inter, the derby is already in the transfer market too

A month of passion. The 2020 summer transfer market could only last 30 days, making everything even more spectacular than usual. In fact, the upheaval of calendars, Covid permitting, will postpone Serie A and European cups in the summer, moving the negotiation window to September. However, woe to think that it is still too early to talk about it: the less time available, paradoxically, significantly increases the amount of work, "forcing" the clubs to have to move much earlier than usual. In short, the games are being played now, especially since in the summer, with the games to be played in confined spaces, the head will be directed above all to the pitch. It is no coincidence that everyone is already getting busy, both incoming and outgoing.

Inter, after having seen Mertens fade (the official nature is still missing but the renewal with Napoli now seems to have been done), is trying to extricate itself on the attacking front, to tell the truth rather tangled. Conte wants four strikers of the same level to play the season in the best possible way, but Marotta must first sort out Icardi's transfers and possibly Lautaro Martinez. PSG presented an offer of 50 million plus bonuses for Mauro's redemption, therefore lower than the 70 million clause. It is unlikely that Inter will say yes by 31 May, the day on which the one-year stability option will expire ago, all the more in the face of the renegotiation of the French.

Even Marotta, however, knows well how Icardi's future must be decided as soon as possible, on pain of finding a difficult element of disturbance at home. After all, redemptions are all under discussion: from Joao Mario (Lokomotiv Moscow has already said it costs too much) to Perisic (Bayern wants a discount), passing through Nainggolan, on which there is actually no clause. At the same time, Inter works on incoming shots, with Timo Werner and Cavani in pole position and the usual church in the background. In midfield, Tonali and Vidal are liked, while on the wing Emerson Palmieri of Chelsea is followed with great attention, to tell the truth, Juventus is also very welcome.

The Derby d'Italia will be the leitmotiv of the transfer market, with Marotta and Paratici as great protagonists. Mashed potato in fact, the black and white want Tonali and Cellino, like an old sea dog, is already rubbing his hands at the thought of the auction. In the last few hours, in the meantime, Newcastle's interest in Higuain has emerged: the new owner Bin Salman in fact has all the arguments to convince both the Lady and the Pipita. However, Juve's big shot will come in midfield, where Sarri is ready to make a real revolution. Tonali would certainly not be the only purchase: there is a top player in the sights, one like Pogba or De Bruyne.

The Frenchman, expiring with Manchester United in 2021, can free himself for 70 million, the Belgian on the other hand costs more (we are around 100) but excites the Juventus coach more. Guardiola would never want to deprive himself of it, but it is good to remember how City risk a cup ban: scenario which, if confirmed, would lead several big names to pack their bags. Big news also from Milan, where while we are preparing to welcome Rangnick (in addition to Maldini, Massara will also leave) there is still talk of Arnault. Sources close to the financial circles tell of an open negotiation, regardless of the denials of the protagonists and the news arrived this week on the San Siro front (no restrictions on killing) only confirm.

The French tycoon would thus enter a much larger deal, while Elliot, for his part, would exit with a nice profit margin. Meanwhile, however, there is a team to set up and here we return to Rangnick, the one who will have the keys to the project. It is not yet clear whether the German will also assume the position of coach or will limit himself to that of Technical Director (in which case the favorite for the bench would be his godson Nagelsmann), but he will certainly dictate the lines of AC Milan's renewal, which will hardly predict Ibrahimovic, on whom the Bolognese sirens have returned.

In the meantime, France is relaunching di an interest in Thauvin, while it is now certain that Bonaventura will be left free on a free transfer (Atalanta, Rome and Turin strongly interested). A real revolution, just like in Naples. In fact, Mertens' renewal must not deceive: De Laurentiis wants to shed the skin of his creature and has made an exception just for him. Koulibaly, for example, will certainly not be chained to the headquarters, also because a rather convincing proposal could come from Manchester (United side). The same goes for Allan, while Callejon will even leave on a free transfer. In short, the time to get back on the pitch hasn't arrived yet but the market isn't waiting, on the contrary it is sending ever stronger signals.
