Antonio Conte one step away from Juve! The scenario, already feared in the previous episodes, takes shape hour after hour and is ever closer to turning into reality. At this point we just have to wait for the face to face between Andrea Agnelli and Massimiliano Allegri but the rumors, however quite reliable, tell of an already decided separation, with the former Juventus captain in the background.
Yesterday evening was decisive, when Paratici and Nedved met the president of Juve: officially to see Ajax-Tottenham but the match, however exciting (3-2 for the English, who will challenge Liverpool in Madrid), was more of a background. The reason for the summit, in fact, was to plan the club's strategy in view of a divorce with Allegri which, at this point, seems increasingly probable.
To convince Agnelli, so far the most reluctant to change of the "triad", would have been precisely the figure of Conte, evidently considered too attractive beyond the disagreements of the past. In this regard, it should be added that Antonio, some time ago, cleared up with the Juventus number one, thus preparing the ground for a sensational return. Let's be clear: the market is crazy by definition and therefore nothing can be taken for granted until there are signatures.
However, the feeling is that Allegri's cycle has come to an end and that Conte, for various reasons, is the most welcome solution. It is no mystery that Guardiola longed for the dream Agnelli (some time ago he had confided to friends that even Luis Enrique, Pep-like in many things, would not have minded) but this, at least for now, is destined to remain so, then the hypothesis of the sensational Antonio-bis took shape and the elimination with Ajax, experienced as a real failure beyond the facade declarations, did the rest. Before the white smoke, however, there will have to be a meeting with Allegri, probably already today: the parties, on excellent terms, will talk to each other frankly, putting all the issues to be discussed on the table.
Max still has one year on his contract but this will have a relatively large impact: at this point, only a sensational twist could lead to his renewal, also because the coach himself would have many doubts about his permanence. If Conte is in the black and white background, in fact, Allegri has the increasingly ruthless court of PSG on his side, ready to offer him a three-year job with doubled salary (from 7 to 14). Antonio, on the other hand, is moving towards a 3-year contract for 8 million plus bonuses, along the lines of what he received at Chelsea: a project with the Champions League in the foreground.
From Milan they tell of an Inter now resigned and determined to turn to another coach for the post Spalletti, who is also close to saying goodbye. The Allegri hypothesis, appreciated by Marotta, would not be taken into consideration by virtue of the Parisian inclusion, and then the Nerazzurri CEO knows well how the square likes different profiles. And so José Mourinho could make a comeback, at the top (by detachment) of the hit of approval of the Inter people, including that Tronchetti Provera who could, through a sponsorship system, contribute to his pharaonic signing.
