Juve, assault on Higuain. And Guardiola's City insists on Bonucci

Juve, assault on Higuain. And Guardiola's City insists on Bonucci

Once again it is the Juve transfer market that holds sway on the front pages, both incoming and outgoing. While the bianconeri try to snatch from Napoli Gonzalo Higuain, Manchester City are preparing yet another battle for Leonardo Bonucci, Pep Guardiola's obsession.

On the first front, that of the Hangnail, today at the beginning of the afternoon Beppe Marotta landed at the Lega headquarters in Milan, where the president of the Azzurri, Aurelio De Laurentiis, also arrived 40 minutes later. There is the Lega assembly, but we will also and above all talk about something else: the CEO of the Italian champions aims to start negotiations for the Argentine center forward.

For the moment there are no new official statements from the representatives of the two companies: we only know that Napoli has no intention of selling Higuain unless the bianconeri pay the 94,7 million termination clause in full. And no technical counterparts are allowed (there was talk of Pereyra).

For the central defender, a post published this morning on the Manchester City website is clear: “Could Juve let Bonucci leave? L'Express thinks so”.

The main news released by the English newspaper concerns the signing of the Italian player, who by going to City could earn 40 million in 5 years, more than double the salary paid to him by Juventus.

On the corporate side, however, the stalemate remains: the Lady has rejected City's first offer of 45 million euros and does not intend to accept checks for less than 60 million. At the same time, however, the Bianconeri do not want to renew the defender's contract and, again according to the website of the English company, the citizens could get to put on the plate the amount requested by Marotta and partners.

Much will depend on the player and the temptation of the new stellar engagement. "If he leaves – said Massimiliano Allegri –, he must know that he will leave one of the best four teams in Europe".
