Jovetic goes, Robinho stays, rebus Isla

The Montenegrin leaves Fiorentina and officially becomes a Manchester City player – Nothing to do for the transfer of Robinho, who remains at Milan – Isla's transition from Juventus to Inter is complicated.

Jovetic goes, Robinho stays, rebus Isla

Stevan Jovetic is a Manchester City player. The official press release, which appeared on Fiorentina's Twitter profile at 20.37, only confirms what has been known for days. The English won, but perhaps it would be better to say the sheiks, capable of paying out 26 million plus 4 in bonuses, effectively covering the release clause set by the Viola. Juventus therefore surrenders, which however had long since raised the white flag. The requests of the Della Valles were too high, but above all the relations between the properties were too bad, as they would never have been able to sit around a table to negotiate. “I am very happy to go to City – said the Montenegrin -. It's a very important team, they play in the Premier League and I really want to win something. Having said that, I will always remain attached to the purple colors and I will be a fan of them, God forbid."

Now Fiorentina will be able to close the purchase of Ilicic (9-10 million will go to Palermo), as well as try to renew Ljajic's contract, which Montella would like to confirm for at least another year. Probably things will go exactly in the direction the Airplane hoped for, also because Milan seems to have slipped away from the race for Serbian talent. In fact, the Rossoneri have officially renewed Robinho's contract until 2016. The decision is the result of a meeting held yesterday afternoon in Via Turati, which was attended by the Brazilian and his lawyer, as well as the Milan management. After a few sentences of circumstance, the official statement arrived which puts the new contract on paper.

The player will spread his salary by earning less (we are talking about 3 million against the current 4,5) but with two more years. A move that seems to lock down Robinho, but which in reality doesn't rule out his departure anyway. Because now the salary is decidedly lower and more affordable, and Milan have also taken precautions against a possible farewell on a free transfer. Sure, he almost certainly won't go to Santos (the market in Brazil closes tomorrow), but who knows, maybe some European sirens might light up, perhaps in France, where Binho has many admirers. Meanwhile Galliani is preparing for the blitz in Moscow for Honda. He won't go in person, but his emissaries will try to soften the requests of the CSKA, so far rather reluctant to give up the Japanese right away.

The Isla – Inter affair gets unexpectedly complicated. After resolving the problems with Udinese, the Nerazzurri now find themselves having to manage the hesitations of Antonio Conte, who is far from happy to hand over the Chilean to a direct competitor for the title. And so Juve asked for a weekend to reflect, despite being aware that the player has long since succumbed to Mazzarri's court. Inter didn't take it very well, and it's no coincidence that they showed up again with Napoli for Zuniga. However, the difficulties in reaching the Colombian full-back are unchanged, in the sense that De Laurentiis does not intend to give anyone discounts. And then the Nerazzurri just have to wait, just like the Bianconeri. Who have not yet found the left winger to give to Conte. We have already mentioned Zuniga (but Juve could still play the Matri card), and Kolarov and Biabiany are also on standby. Marotta observes, in the meantime he works to thin out the squad and collect the money needed for the last coup.

Napoli does not have these problems, which, by admission of De Laurentiis himself, have 124,5 million to spend on the transfer market. And given that around 40 have been spent so far, there are over 80 left to strengthen the squad. Above all, the Azzurri are looking for Cavani's replacement: the hot name is always that of Leandro Damiao, but watch out for Spalletti's Zenit, who has surprisingly entered the negotiation. In any case Benitez has asked for two forwards, so here's the possibility of signing Matri, but also Gilardino or Borriello. The Julio Cesar – De Sanctis deal with Roma is still stalled, blocked precisely by the Brazilian's hesitations. To which De Laurentiis gave one last day to decide what to do.
