Jones Day and Santa Maria were the legal advisors of the securitization transaction carried out by Bayerische Landesbank London (BayernLB), as arranger, concerning receivables claimed by Banca Farmafactoring from local healthcare companies and hospitals in various Italian regions.
Jones Day assisted BayernLB, with a team led by partners Vinicio Trombetti (in the photo) and Marco Lombardi (for the tax part), supported by Marco Frattini and Carolina Caslini.
The Santa Maria studio, with a team made up of partner Alessio Gerhart Ruvolo and Caterina Napoli, supported by Elisabetta Nicolì, assisted Banca Farmafactoring, as Originator, Subservicer and Subordinated loan provider.
The operation was carried out with the issue, by a vehicle company set up pursuant to law 130/1999, of a "partly paid" security.
