Jobs Act, Poletti: decrees in 6 months. To the unions: no negotiation

The objective of the discussion on the implementing decrees of the Jobs Act "is to illustrate the Government's positions, discuss with the social partners, collect the requests and solicitations, but knowing that there will be no negotiations". Thus the Minister of Labour, Giuliano Poletti, during the meeting with trade unions and companies. The Government, Poletti underlined, according to what has been learned, "will then take its decisions in compliance with the delegation approved by Parliament".

Minister Poletti also explained to the social partners that the Renzi government "has maintained its commitment to discussing and discussing the implementation decrees of the Jobs Act while being aware of a diversity of evaluations, especially with the unions that went on strike". The times envisaged by the delegation, underlined the Minister of Labour, "are short, six months at the most within which the decrees must be completed". The minister has not presented any text to the social partners both because it has not yet been completed and because there are still some issues to be resolved on the permanent contract with increasing protection and the reform of shock absorbers.
