Jobs Act, M5s chaos in the classroom. Renzi: protests don't stop us

President Grasso is forced to suspend the session which restarts at 16 pm. The starred group leader Vito Petrocelli is expelled. The labor minister will resume explaining the provision but the vote, scheduled to coincide with the EU summit in Milan, could be postponed until tomorrow

Chaos in the Senate while the Jobs Act is being discussed. Labor Minister Poletti was heavily interrupted by the group leader of the M5S Vito Petrocelli, so much so that the president of Palazzo Madama, Pietro Grasso, was forced to intervene and suspend him. However, Petrocelli took refuge in the courtroom, refusing to leave. The session therefore had to be interrupted and will resume shortly, at 16 pm.

 “They can challenge us but the real truth is that we are changing this country. Let's not give up an inch and we will reach the goal with tenacity ”, said Prime Minister Matteo Renzi in Assago, near Milan, where he is for the European labor summit.

In the afternoon, Minister Poletti will therefore have to resume illustrating the government's maxi-amendment to the Jobs Act, which mentions the innovations regarding the revision of atypical contracts, the severance indemnity and article 18. The request will then be presented vote of confidence already approved by the Council of Ministers last Monday.

The orientation of the majority is to get to the vote on the Jobs Act in correspondence with the European summit taking place in Milan. However, at this point it is not excluded that the vote will be postponed to tomorrow.
