The first place in world tennis is now in the sights, today firmly in the hands of Novak Djokovic. But when could Jannik Sinner become world number one? Let's do some calculations.

August 2023: Jannik Sinner wins his first ATP Masters 1000. October 2023: with a victory over Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner becomes number 4 in the world, equaling Adriano Panatta's record in 1976 after winning Roland Garros. November: victory in Davis Cup.
