Jacuzzi moves the "mini-pools" from America to Pordenone

Jacuzzi has moved the production site of some models of outdoor hydromassage mini-pools (Spas) from North America to Italy. More precisely in Valvasone Arzene, in the province of Pordenone, where the manufacturing lines are already active.

After the successful opening of the European marketing headquarters in Milan, this decision is also part of the company's strategy to strengthen its presence in Europe and Asia in the spa market. Given the growing demand for this category of products, due in particular to the development of wellness tourism, Jacuzzi aims to exceed its market share by 20% in the next three years with investments in R&D exceeding one million euros.

“Over the next 3 years, Jacuzzi will achieve a 50% increase in production and business volumes in the Spa market, also thanks to the development of the contract sector: our goal is to increase our share for the Europe area above by 20%”, declared Fabio Felisi, President & General Manager Jacuzzi Emea-Asia.

“This ambitious goal will be achieved by generating a competitive advantage through the creation of premium products: investments in the research and development sector of more than one million euros are foreseen – he explained – which will make it possible to make the most of the operational excellence of the group, but above all will allow to optimize production systems and global distribution, with a view to lean production and industry 4.0”.
