ITS Academy: agreement between Indire and Unioncamere for greater school-business synergy

The agreement, which will be promoted as part of the "Job&Orienta" orientation fair in Verona, provides for a synergy between the two institutions that passes through an exchange of knowledge and skills on the areas of their own interest.

ITS Academy: agreement between Indire and Unioncamere for greater school-business synergy

The research institution INDIRE e Unioncamere have signed a agreement of collaboration on Higher Technological Institutes. The goal is to promote and enhance strategic networking between companies, ITS Academy and schools and provides for a synergy between the two institutions that passes through an exchange of knowledge and skills on the areas of interest.

The agreement was promoted as part of "Job&Orienta", the Orientation Fair dedicated to School, Training and Work held at Veronafiere from 24 to 26 November 2022.

ITS Academy: facilitating the meeting between job supply and demand

The two organizations have identified some as priorities areas of intervention, starting from an analysis of data from the INDIRE database and the Excelsior information system.

We will try to encourage themeeting between demand and supply of work-placement through collaboration in the drafting and promotion of thematic reports of the Excelsior Project series dedicated to the tertiary system of higher technological education, with the aim of supporting the orientation towards the ITS Academy training channel. It will be encouraged participation in research activities and initiatives concerning the demand and supply of professional profiles related to the tertiary system of higher technological education.

Space also for the creation of assisted experimentation pathways supported by training and research to respond to the employment needs of specific territories and particular production chains.

Also expected to start initiatives for the diffusion of apprenticeship first and third level and dual level, also to encourage more effective training orientation and improve the success of young people's training choices, sharing models for managing activities and partnerships.

Support the ITS model for its growth at a territorial level

Cristina Grieco, President of Indict, presenting the collaboration, declared that “The agreement between our Institute and Unioncamere introduces further tools to support the ITS system and its growth at a territorial level. The primary objective of INDIRE is to invest in research activities and to encourage all those actions, also in synergy with other organizations, which can provide the system of the education and vocational training chain with innovative organizational and teaching models”.

These are the ITS, vocational paths still not sufficiently valued in Italy. A training that responds to the request of companies for personnel with technological skills, today more than ever necessary to ensure innovation and competitiveness to our production system".
