Italo has signed an agreement to renew the company collective labor agreement with the trade unions, as part of the CCNL mobility dated 16 December 2016.

The new contract will apply only to employees and not to executives and, the company says, "it is the result of the demanding and loyal dialogue that has allowed the parties to deal concretely with each contractual element with the mutual intention of sharing more appropriate solutions, both on the regulatory and on the economic side”.

The Company declares: "With the agreement reached, the parties have defined the reference discipline that will regulate the employment relationships of the employees of Italo, with a view to improving the levels of competitiveness of the company, the safety and quality of work of all collaborators for a sustainable growth of the company".

"The new contract which provides for an average increase of around 120 euros - explain the unions - confirms, in a phase of growth of the company which coincides with the acquisition by the Gip Fund, a model of industrial relations, started with the the negotiation began last February and is oriented towards participation and respect for workers' rights in the context of contractual arrangements” .

The signed hypothesis will be illustrated as early as next week to the workers concerned and then submitted to a referendum on 24, 25 and 26 July.
