According to the latest Italiaonline search on the relationship between SMEs and digital, the investments on social media are increased significantly, exceeding 500 million euros in 2023, with an increase of almost 50% compared to the previous year. Despite this, many SMEs struggle to get the most out of their investment due to a lack of dedicated resources.

67% of the SMEs interviewed invest in social media to increase their visibility and over 60% have created sponsored content. However, only 15% update their social pages every week, while 19% do so once a month. Finally, 70% of companies manage their social presence internally.

To meet these needs, Italiaonline has developed MOVE, a new strategic approach designed for Helping SMEs Create Social Content of value. The project aims to support companies that do not have an internal marketing department with concrete and easily implementable solutions, ranging from the definition of the brief to content management.
