Surprise at the top of the Italian Exhibition Group, the company that controls the Fiera di Rimini and that of Vicenza and which is listed on the Stock Exchange. The managing director Ugo Ravanelli suddenly resigned from his position the day after the presentation of the half-yearly report, which showed growing revenues and profits. In fact, turnover was 99,9 million against 77,3 in the previous year. Consolidated net profit also grew: 10,7 million against 7,6 in 2018.

“There are no longer the necessary prerequisites to be able to continue this experience” the outgoing CEO laconically declared.

Consequently, the President of Italian Exhibition Gour, Lorenzo Cagnoni, convened the board of directors to assess the situation and proceed with the appointment of the new CEO of the company.
