After the early resignation of Marco Pietribiasi, whose mandate lasted only 7 months, Italia Independent appointed the new managing director, co-opting him to the board: it is about Marco Cordeddu, who is entrusted with the delicate task of reviving the fate of Lapo Elkann's creature, recovering from a disastrous semester with accounts in the red.
Marco Cordeddu, explains the company note, "is a manager with proven experience, having held top positions in leading companies in the fashion, publishing, entertainment and automotive sectors such as Canepa, De Agostini Publishing, Mikado Film and Fiat Auto. The new CEO will be dedicated immediately the review and completion of the business plan of the company for the next five years, the approval of which has therefore been postponed to the next board of directors to be held by 30 October. On that date, the Italia Independent SpA shareholders' meeting will take place for the resolutions pursuant to art. 2446 code civ.
