Italy slammed by the EU for milk quotas and garbage

Clubbed twice in one day by the European Union. The first reason is the milk quotas. A letter from Brussels has arrived on the table of the Italian government in which our country is placed in arrears because many farmers in the North exceed the limits imposed by the EU on the quantity produced. Italy should fine those who fail and collect almost 1,42 billion euros. But she doesn't. That's why Europe wants our country to do what it has to and collect the money within two months, to prevent the burden falling on honest taxpayers. If Italy fails to comply, an infringement procedure and a consequent fine will come from the EU.

After the milk quotas, the garbage. The European Commission has decided to refer Italy to the Court of Justice for failing to comply with EU standards in waste management in Campania. Brussels is asking for a fine of 25 million euros for past violations and a further fine of over 250 euros per day from the moment the Court confirms the sentence. All until Italy complies with EU rules.
