Last November the trade balance Italy recorded a surplus of 3,091 billion euros, compared to a surplus of 2,047 billion in the same month of 2012. Net of energy, the surplus is 7,2 billion. In the first eleven months of the year, the trade surplus reached 26,8 billion and, net of energy products, was almost 77 billion.
This was communicated by Istat, specifying that in November exports fell in trend terms by 3,4%, while imports showed a decrease of 6,9%. Trade with European Union countries produced a surplus of 712 million, against 321 million in November 2012.
In general, in the September-November 2013 quarter, compared to the previous quarter, there was a decrease in both imports (-0,8%) and, to a lesser extent, exports (-0,3%).
