Inflation recorded a slight decrease in November, by 0,1%, compared to the month of October (3,4%): a drop had not been recorded since September 2010. The consumer price index recorded a 3,3% increase over the same month last year. The data was disclosed by Istat, which confirmed the provisional estimate previously made.
The statistical institute also pointed out that in the basket of most frequently purchased goods (from food to fuel) there was an increase, on an annual basis, of Present in several = 4,2% higher than the previous month (+4,1% in October).
