The purchasing power of Italian families is still falling. Also in the second three months of the year, the disposable income of consumer households in current values ​​decreased net of seasonal factors by 0,6% compared to the previous quarter. On the other hand, the change on an annual basis is minimal, +0,1%.

In comparison with the second quarter of 2012, the propensity to save of consumer households increased, measured net of seasonal factors, which stood at 9,4%, up by 1,7%. Compared to the previous quarter, however, the figure is down by 0,2%.

Household expenditure on final consumption, expressed in current values, fell by 1,8% on an annual basis and by 0,3% compared to the previous quarter. The household investment rate, equal to 6,3%, remained unchanged compared to the previous quarter, but contracted by 0,3% on an annual basis.

Similar speech for the profit share (38,4%) and the investment rate (19,5%) of non-financial companies, unchanged compared to the first quarter, but down by 1,2% and 0,8 respectively, XNUMX%, on an annual basis.
