positive February forindustry, which shows growth both in terms of turnover than on that of the orders. According to data released byIstatin fact, the sector's revenues recorded an increase of 0,1% compared to January, while orders recorded a growth of 0,7%.
The cyclical growth in turnover is the synthesis of an increase of 0,2% on the domestic market and a decrease of 0,1% on the foreign market, while the increase in total orders is supported by a significant increase (+1,6 %) of domestic orders, only partially offset by the limited decline in foreign orders (-0,3%).
Corrected for calendar effects, compared to February 2015, turnover decreased by 0,2%, a synthesis of an increase of 0,4% on the domestic market and a decrease of 1% on the foreign market. The raw turnover index, on the other hand, grew by 2,4% in trend terms. The largest contribution to this increase comes from the domestic component of intermediate goods.
In comparison with the month of February 2015, the raw index of orders marks an increase of 3,8%. The most significant increase is recorded in the manufacture of computers and electronic products (+19,9%), while the only decline is observed in the manufacture of electrical equipment (-5,8%).
