The vertical collapse of the Italian market does not stop construction. According to data released this morning by Istat, in November the sector's production index fell by 10,8% in trend terms and by 2,6% compared to October.
Furthermore, on average for the first eleven months of 2013, construction production fell by 11,1% on an annual basis.
In the September-November quarter, the index recorded a decrease of 3,2% compared to the previous three months. In November 2013, the crude index marked a trend decline of 14% compared to the same month in 2012.
