In June, the confidence of Italian companies starts to rise again. L'composite index elaborated by Istat, it stands at 88,4 points, against 86,9 in May. The improvement affects all the main business sectors: manufacturing, market services, construction and retail trade.
The confidence climate indicator manufacturing companies it rises to 100,0 points, from 99,8 in May. Both assessments on order books (from -21 to -20) and production expectations (from 4 to 6) improve; the balance relating to the assessments on inventories passes from -3 to 0.
The analysis by clusters indicates an increase in indie for i intermediate goods (from 101,9 to 103,0) and a worsening for i consumer goods (from 98,3 to 98,1) and for i capital goods (from 99,7 to 98,3).
The indicator relating to printing of construction it rises to 81,1 from 73,4 in May. Both assessments on construction orders and/or plans improve (from -54 to -44) and expectations on employment (from -23 to -22).
in service companies confidence rose from 87,4 to 88,0. All climate components recorded a slight improvement: judgments and expectations on order books (respectively from -17 to -16 and from -11 to -10) and expectations on the general economic trend (from -19 to - 18).
In Retailfinally, the confidence climate index rose to 101,4 points, from 99,0 in May, recording an increase both in large-scale distribution (from 95,6 to 101,0) and in the traditional one (from 102,0 at 102,7).
