In Libya, the militiamen of Ansar al Sharia, affiliated with ISIS, beheaded a prisoner and then released the video of the execution online. The news was released by the online edition of the British newspaper Times.
The victim, Ahmed Muftah El-Nazihi, was captured while fighting in the ranks of former Libyan general Khalifa Haftar in the east of the country. In the images, the young man appears terrified as he pronounces the statement that the members of the jihadist group require him to read before execution: "I advise those who were with me to abandon their activities and return to their homes or they will face the same fate, beheading".
